Daniel's reactions before & after 'Germany vs. Mexico' match

(Before the match) "Guys, 'Germany vs. Mexico' match starts soon. It's the first match for both countries. I'm sure a lot of people are nervous and excited right now. Please cheer for Mexico, not Germany since Germany doesn't need any cheering."

(During the match, with Nik) "Guys, I don't think this is going well. Stop cheering for Mexico and please cheer for Germany."

(After the match) "Of course, you have to be modest."

Article: Daniel, his completely changed face before and after 'Germany vs. Mexico' match, "You have to be modest."

Source: Newsen via Nate

1. [+988, -16] Cute ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Gerniel

2. [+853, -13] Christian: "So funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

3. [+722, -13] "I don't think this is going well" ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+55, -2] A German becomes funny when Germany loses ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+46, -2] The match was a slaughter... Our defense won't even be able to hold up for more than 3 minutes.

6. [+35, -2] I want to see Christian and his friends' reactions.

7. [+33, -3] Alberto: " ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

8. [+32, -2] Who said Germans are boring? They're so funny when they lose like this.

9. [+32, -3] Daniel doesn't know much about soccer, though. Anyways, I wish Abnormal Summit would air again. It was one of my favorite shows.

10. [+31, -3] Mexico was no joke since the start. I still didn't expect Germany to be defeated...

Pann: Sleep hours that make you feel refreshed

1. [+148, -1] The only available choice for me is 4 hours 30 min.

2. [+80, -0] I think it depends. I just have to sleep for a long time to feel refreshed.

3. [+33, -0] Wow, it gives me goosebumps. I slept for 6 hours before and it was weird how I didn't feel tired. Today, I slept for 4 hours and 30 min and I was confused how I'm not feeling tired. And I'm reading this post ㅋㅋ

4. [+27, -0] If you sleep for 4 hours and 30 min, you might feel refreshed in the morning but you'll be very sleepy in the evening and your eyes will sting for the whole day.

5. [+17, -0] Bio rhythm. 1.5 hour is the cycle of REM sleep. Search it up if you're bored.

6. [+15, -0] I feel the most refreshed when I go to bed at 12AM and wake up at 12PM.

7. [+13, -3] I heard that it's the best to sleep for even hours like 6, 8, and 10 hours.

8. [+12, -0] You might feel refreshed but you'll feel tired.

9. [+10, -0] The average time it takes to fall asleep is 14 minutes. And this info is true, too.

10. [+8, -0] It's really effective.

Similar-looking celebrities that used to confuse people

Yuri & Yoona

Key & Onew

Lee Hyun Woo & Park Bogum

Bora & Hyorin

Park Sodam & Kim Goeun

Seo Jisoo & Yein

Yoon Sohee & Lee Yeol Eum

Park Hana & Oh Jieun

Pann: People that you used to be confused with but not anymore

1. [+129, -15] I still get these two confused... It's Heo Yi Jae and Park Hee Bon. They look the same, I still wonder if they're twins.

2. [+104, -11] I really agree except Yuri&Yoona and Bora&Hyorin ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Especially Park Bogum and Lee Hyun Woo are so confusing.

3. [+95, -1] I used to get Kim Moo Yeol and Jung Suk Won mixed up a lot.

4. [+76, -0] Lee Elijah and Lee Tae Im for me... They look like twins.

5. [+40, -3] I'm really confused with Ki Tae Young and Lee Sang Woo.

6. [+32, -0] Raymon Kim and Solid Kim Johan... ㅠㅠ

7. [+30, -3] Don't Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Min Jae look like twins? I even get their families confused.

8. [+28, -1] Apink Eunji and Girl's Day Minah. I don't find them similar-looking anymore but I used to get them really mixed up for some reason.

Incheon Airport to adopt 'face recognition' system for departure

Article: Departing from the country by face recognition, not a passport... 'Smart Incheon Airport' opens a new era

Source: Yeonhap via Naver

1. [+350, -81] What about plastic girls?

2. [+286, -65] What's the point? You might not need the passport when you leave the country but when you enter or leave another country, you'll need the passport anyways ㅋㅋ

3. [+178, -34] Security is effective when the process is  complicated... Koreans only want things faster and more convenient, that's why we get these things and get our security broken. The future is about protecting information, Korea will suffer from its weakened security.

4. [+91, -15] People with a lot of plastic surgery will be alarmed ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+42, -9] Amazing~~

6. [+33, -4] Developed countries have tough immigration. This is like inviting all criminals.

7. [+27, -3] They need to stop wasting the tax on these useless things and work on reducing illegal immigrants instead. It doesn't even take more than 10 minutes to depart, why are they using money for little improvement?

8. [+21, -1] That means less jobs.

9. [+19, -1] There's a sense of satisfaction from getting stamps on your passport as you leave the country.

Pann: Yang boss is so frustrating

1. [+235, -2] He must've been refreshing Youtube every second to post it as soon as the views reached 10M.

2. [+220, -4] It gives me goosebumps ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Yang boss is so frustrating ㅋㅋㅋㅋ He even discriminates his own boy groups. Not just the groups, but he also discriminates the members, too ㅋㅋ

3. [+159, -3] Result-obsessed bug ㅋㅋ

4. [+123, -1] He calls Kang Seungyoon 7080-style and BI says in an interview that it's his fault. I can tell how he's scolding the artists by results ㅋㅋ Hyun Suk-ah, stop being on your phone and make some plans ^^

5. [+117, -2] Result-obsessed bug indeed. Since Winner's Really Really and iKON's Love Scenario, his treatment towards them changed completely ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

6. [+94, -0] He was a "kid" in Seo Taeji and the Kids and yet he discriminates his artists a lot ㅋㅋㅋㅋ His artists are much better-looking and talented than him. He cages them in his own treasure box and only lets them promote on Inkigayo. How are they supposed to gain more fans from that? It's important to be exposed when you're a rookie artist. He thinks his artists are at Bigbang level.

7. [+86, -2] The only flaw of stanning Winner is that the artists have to work under Yang boss. The fans are suffocating so much, I can't imagine how it's like for Winner. I'm sure all YG fans feel the same ㅋㅋ He doesn't even treat them nicely but he changes his attitude when an artist get good results. Because of the result-obsessed bug, the fans are struggling a lot.

8. [+71, -0] I can see how jealous he becomes when non-YG artists do well. Yang boss is only a businessman. Blackpink is doing very well but they're still only a few years old, he's only pressuring them by doing this. He's a boss and yet he's acting like that ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Usually, only composers and staffs would spam posts like that and be happy.

2. [+47, -1] I really hope DAY6's band room looks better ㅋㅋ

3. [+46, -2] Twice,  GOT7, DAY6, Stray Kidz, Jimin, A-yeon, Bernard Park, 2PM, Yubin, etc. I hope JYP continues to support all artists well! With the better environment, let's do better ^^

4. [+14, -1] Please take care of our DAY6 kids, too.

5. [+14, -1] I'm a GOT7 fan. It feels weird that they're moving from an old building where GOT7 has been since their trainee days. I hope JYP artists continue to do well in the new building JYP Nation hwaiting!

6. [+8, -1] I hope GOT7 plays hide-and-seek in the new building on V app

Alberto says Switzerland has a stingy image

Article: 'Welcome in Korea' Alberto, "Switzerland has a stingy image... They don't spend much"

Source: Xports News via Nate

1. [+224, -8] I didn't know Swiss people also have a stingy image ㅋㅋ Dutch people are very stingy as well. They travel with their camping car full of food ㅋㅋ

2. [+187, -8] It was so touching when the Swiss friends visited the war memorial hall and cherished our fallen heroes ㅠㅠ

3. [+181, -7] When I was in traveling in Europe, I stayed at my friend's place who went to school at the southern end of Germany. On Fridays and Saturdays, Swiss people came with their cars and did groceries there ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I went to a Swiss restaurant and I was surprised at how expensive it was.

4. [+26, -1] In Switzerland, 4 of us went and bought sandwiches and bottled drinks for breakfast. We paid a total of $60.... If you think I'm joking, go there. You'll see the most beautiful view of nature in the world by paying the most expensive prices in the world.

5. [+23, -2] Swiss prices are very expensive. I've always liked the nature of Switzerland since I was young. I finally got to travel there. The view is seriously amazing, and the prices were just as amazing ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I traveled for 15 days. I had 7 dine-outs and for the rest of the meals, I did groceries at Coop and cooked. Fondue was too salty for my taste and the steak wasn't as good as Florence t-bone steak, but it cost 10 franc more. It was so expensive. The cup ramen I ate at Jungfraujoch tasted the best.

6. [+20, -1] I remember Big Mac combo in Switzerland was around $30. Switzerland has the most expensive big mac.

7. [+20, -5] Just how expensive is it in Switzerland?

8. [+10, -0] The prices are expensive and half of their income is tax. But their retirement treatment is excellent.

Sung Si Kyung spotted promoting in Japan

Article: The reason why Sung Si Kyung performed at a shopping mall in Japan?

Source: Hankook Ilbo via Nate

1. [+637, -51] I think his cameo role in Kodoku No Gurume was an extension of his Japanese promotions. He's a top artist in his genre so he could've easily fell into mannerism. His success aside, it's cool that he's advancing in a new market and starting from the bottom.

2. [+474, -31] Sung Si Kyung's popularity is no joke in Japan. Grandmas in their 60's like him a lot. I went to a galbi restaurant that was featured in Kodoku No Gurume and half of the customers were Sung Si Kyung fans who were there because of him.

3. [+423, -28] Lee Juck and Sung Si Kyung are top vocals, I hope the future is bright for them.

4. [+30, -5] That's how TVXQ used to promote... He's starting from the bottom... It's not easy to do that when you're an experienced artist.

5. [+25, -3] Instead of idols, I hope artists of different genres get to shine more in Korea. Sung Si Kyung is a top artist but he's promoting with a rookie mindset overseas, I wish the best for him. But please also ave a year-end concert and a new album ㅠㅠ

6. [+21, -46] He doesn't know his own level. He loves criticizing others and he's really stubborn. He's the type who mansplains.

7. [+21, -11] Why doesn't he release songs in Korea ㅠ

8. [+19, -3] Japanese idol music is weird, but it's not like only one genre is popular there. Japanese music market is really broad and they have better moral consciousness. If they like an artist, they buy the artist's albums like a hobby. I don't like Japan but their moral consciousness is one of the top ones in the world.

9. [+17, -0] Some people might think too many artists are advancing in Japan but just like how we're suffering from unemployment, the music industry is struggling the same way. Artists have no choice but to go there. You can be an MC or do other promotions for extra income but artists' main source of income is their music sales and concerts. Unless you're a popular idol with a big fandom, you have no source of income. And Melon is dominating the domestic music so you only have to pay Melon to access all songs, but Japan has a lot of streaming companies with divided music so people don't really use the streaming services. Due to various reasons like that, their physical market is still very active and they have this mindset that you must buy your music. In Korea, the audience of concerts tend to be young but in Japan, ajussis, ajummas, and grandmas go to idol concerts. They have this culture that all age groups are free to like and check out any artist. If you're passionate about music and work hard, it's possible to succeed with every genre in their environment. There's this saying that you've succeeded if you didn't lose anything as a singer in Korea. Japan is a place where every artist want to advance in for once.

10. [+14, -1] People just criticize Japan blindly but their music market is the second biggest in the world. Artists go there because they don't download music for free like Korea. Look at domestic music charts. They're full of manipulations and idol songs. It's even hard for artists like Lee Juck and Sung Si Kyung to survive here. The environment is completely different.

Seolhyun's treasured belonging - Q-tips with her autograph

Choa's treasured belonging - guitar with her autograph

-

Pann: Difference between Seolhyun and Choa's treasured belongings

1. [+116, -2] I don't even expect a guitar but Q-tips is too much ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+99, -4] Seolhyun seems to be really slow with senses. I guess Choa gave away her debut belongings since she was done with AOA. Even if Choa wasn't in a girl group, she would've earned a lot of money by doing other things.

3. [+93, -0] Choa's treasured belonging is a guitar she used when AOA was a band? Anyways, Q-tips is too much.

4. [+35, -4] AOA is dead with Choa's withdrawal.

5. [+32, -0] Q-tips as a treasured belonging ㅋㅋ I don't even expect a guitar but Q-tips is seriously... ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Seolhyun has zero wit...

6. [+31, -0] Even if Seolhyun really treasures those Q-tips, how can she even think of sending them? ㅋㅋ

7. [+31, -0] Freaking Q-tips ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

8. [+19, -0] Seolhyun is the excellent example of "She's a nice kid but..."

'K-ballet' dancers shine on global ballet scene

Seohee (American Ballet Theater)

Park Se Eun (Paris Opera Ballet), Kim Kimin (Mariinsky Ballet), Seohee

Kim Kimin

-

Article: K-ballet captures the world... 3 hits of body, education, and spirit

Source: Yeonhap via Naver

1. [+1671, -24] The country didn't do anything. It's their parents' work.

2. [+616, -20] I think the rivalry between the head of Korean National Ballet Choi Taeji and the head of Universal Ballet Moon Hoonsook played a role as well. We don't know the details but I've been reading newspapers for 20~30 years and these two people are the root. Head Choi Taeji, who is a gyopo, put a lot of effort into educating hoobaes. She sent the members of Korean National Ballet to international ballet contests and they got good results. So they became major ballet dancers and Korean National Ballet became a high-level ballet association. Seeing this, head Moon Hoonsook also worked hard in educating hoobaes. Park Se Eun was also scouted at Choi Taeji's elementary school ballet camp. Park Se Eun was the worst dancer because she started ballet the latest but Choi Taeji saw through her talent. She still goes around the country and teaches ballet for free.

3. [+502, -13] What's the point of being top dancers when they only promote overseas because there's no domestic scene? There needs to be a stage for ballet dancers and the audience. We can say the ballet culture is truly developed only when we have top foreign ballet dancers wanting to promote in Korea.

4. [+200, -9] It's hard to become that big by individual talent only. Korean National Ballet and Universal Ballet competed against each other and adopted Russian professors' works. It resulted in the increase in quality and the students were able to improve properly. It was 20 years ago when Kim Jiyoung and Kim Yonggul caused a ballet boom in Korea. The ones in the article are the next generation. 25 years ago, the domestic ballet group wasn't even able to follow Swan Lake but now they can pull off new European choreographs. Good results just follow automatically.

5. [+41, -0] We're good at everything now. All we need is politicians acting good.

6. [+36, -0] I don't think education counts as one of the 3 hits. Music, arts, and performances are all learned by money. Artists can only cry.

7. [+22, -3] So cool, Park Se Eun-ssi~

8. [+13, -1] There's even 'K-ballet'? It would've been a big problem if our country was spelled Corea in English ㅋㅋ
