SM Rookies Yiyang confirmed to have left SM

"Thank you for staying with me. I'm looking for a new start. I'll work hard."

Pann: Female trainee that SM lost today

1. [+197, -17] How does she lack more than Yeri...

2. [+142, -3] Wow, so pretty. She looks like a mix between Yeonwoo and Tzuyu.

3. [+91, -4] SM must have a lot of treasures since they lose so many of them... A lot of Rookies are talented and pretty but they're all leaving SM, it makes me sad. Hyerin used to be on variety shows with NCT kids but she left SM and appeared on Idol School... Does SM have too many treasures?

4. [+41, -0] Agreed with the comments. Just how many visuals and talented trainees do they have that they're losing trainees like this? Are they letting them go since they don't have plans to launch a girl group soon?

5. [+38, -0] The current situation of SM Rookies reminds me of YG's female trainees before Blackpink debuted. SNSD and f(x) are unclear so Red Velvet is doing all the promotions but they're losing to other 3rd generation girl groups. I think they'll debut a hoobae group after Red Velvet settles down. I feel bad for Red Velvet the most.

6. [+29, -1] She looks like Yeonwoo, so pretty.

7. [+24, -0] She looks like a female Kangta.

8. [+21, -1] She looks like Tzuyu with SM vibes.

1. [+107, -16] SHINee earns a lot ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was so speechless when I saw young fans looking down on SHINee ㅋㅋ

2. [+90, -21] NCT's physical sales exceeded 500K this year. That's basically 6 billion won.

3. [+73, -14] Wow, SHINee is amazing.

4. [+47, -0] TVXQ's concert profit is already 56.1 billion won.

5. [+38, -0] TVXQ earned over 50 billion won in Japan in just 3 days and they did more tours. This ranking is either ignoring TVXQ or TVXQ's Japanese earnings don't contribute to SM much since their Japanese agency might be taking the most.

6. [+38, -5] SHINee's individual members also do their own tours, CFs, dramas, and variety shows, so they must be #1 for sure.

7. [+36, -4] TVXQ's earnings are 35% of SM's total earnings, they're #1 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ You have to bring the receipts

8. [+35, -3] SHINee's domestic earnings and Japanese earnings are one of the highest, so they're #1. EXO sells well domestically and also goes on international tours, so they earn more than those that are popular only internationally.

9. [+35, -3] I think it's accurate.

10. [+33, -1] I think TVXQ earns more than EXO. TVXQ gathered 100M audience in Japan.

11. [+28, -7] Those who stan offline would know that NCT has tons of fans.

12. [+28, -5] SHINee Minho has more than 3 CFs. Taemin also has Reebok CF and individual promotions. SHINee members do really well individually so they must be earning a lot... They're amazing.

SM's management went downhill since the time of NCT's debut?

Pann: The point when SM's management started going downhill

1. [+157, -7] I stanned SM for 10 years and quit. SM's future depends on whether they will have a group as big as EXO and SNSD or not. NCT wasn't meant to be the next EXO so they don't count. Unless the new girl group doesn't become big like SNSD, I really think SM wouldn't be safe. They'll suffer the second dark age. For now they're maintaining with current artists but EXO has been around for 7 years, SNSD disbanded, TVXQ is more than 10 years, and SHINee is in their 10th year. They need to wake up because all of the staffs who produced EXO moved to different companies. The current staffs are rookie producers except Min Hee Jin and Yoo Young Jin. That's also why they're not satisfying the old SM stans, either.

2. [+150, -19] SM's management might be terrible but EXO became big without a reality show or any video content, so fans don't get tired or anything. We just want SM to sue for the online rumors. Is there a fandom that begs the company to sue? There's nothing us fans can do about them. And please give us a feedback when there's a problem. From small things to big things, they never give a feedback.

3. [+81, -5] NCT is getting no responses so I thought their songs weren't good and checked their MVs, but their songs and MVs were well-made. It's a pity since they should be popular by now.

4. [+72, -1] Honestly, do you think Kokobop would've done well if it wasn't EXO? How can they think of doing latin music when other boy groups are going for public-friendly songs... They need to stop with experimental stuff and stop relying on the fans.

5. [+61, -1] SM will be hopeless when EXO enlists. They're maintaining their title because of EXO and Red Velvet. They need to debut a new girl group or a boy group that hits daebak.

6. [+8, -4] As an SM boy group fan, it's true that they're promoting NCT a lot. Their variety show had two sunbaes for their comeback ㅋㅋ The problem is that we can see the members that SM promote. I can't even count how many times I saw Mark on TV this year.

7. [+55, -0] Seriously ㅋㅋㅋ Why does SM overlap their artists' comebacks? And how can they not promote on music shows because of the company concert? They couldn't win #1 due to the lack of broadcast points because they had to attend the SM concert!!! They posted a blurred photo of members on the official account and they re-uploaded it without an apology!! SM is feeding their antis. I just feel bad that people still mention agency power regarding to SM artists.

8. [+54, -2] I'll be honest. EXO's results are getting better every time, I don't understand why they're not promoting this. EXO has been around for a long time and they became popular in 2013, so isn't it a big achievement to be maintaining their popularity until now? Why can't they use this fact to promote the group and expand the fandom? It feels like SM just releases EXO's albums and expects the fans to buy them. What kind of company releases a full album in mid-July, repackage in early September, and a winter album in December? Do you know how hard it was with the divided fandom power?

9. [+48, -1] I didn't even know Taeyeon had a comeback... What's going on... Is SM's management absent?

10. [+46, -2] It's like they look fancy on the outside but there's nothing on the inside. 18 members is too much. I heard NCT is an expanding group? This idea is such a big mistake. They should've chosen a number of the members. People can't focus on the group because there are too many members. There are also sub-teams so it's all over the place.

11. [+41, -1] I like all the 18 members but I don't know what they're doing ㅋㅋ There are 9 unofficial members, which makes it 27 members... They're also trying to make a Chinese team but it seems too late for that. Their teasers are not exciting. I feel bad for all of the SM idols, especially f(x)... The f(x) members' requests were all rejected, I heard. Stupid SM.

12. [+40, -45] The only solution for NCT is kicking out problematic and nugu members and re-debuting with major members only. The members are so random and their charms and visuals don't match. They're not from a small company. They debuted under the biggest idol company and it's been a year but the public doesn't even know the members' names. This is a big problem.

SM's idols are struggling recently?

Taeyeon - Didn't do well digitally

NCT - No digital success / no popularity
EXO - Struggling since Kokobop
Red Velvet - Mixed opinions
Super Junior - Every song doesn't do well
TVXQ - ???
-

Pann: SM is also done

1. [+138, -127] They're not done yet... The thing that's done is NCT.

2. [+136, -10] Lee Soo Man can destroy your artist at once.

3. [+129, -46] When will NCT be popular?

4. [+79, -8] SHINee is in their 11th year, they're still doing well considering that. They always charted-in and won  #1 a few times.

5. [+71, -3] Except NCT and Red Velvet on the list, all of the groups were top idols. Since EXO, Lee Soo Man became too experimental. Their production and senses are good but they're relying too much on it. They need to start considering the public more.

6. [+57, -10] Do you want to know a fact? Taeyeon, SHINee, Super Junior, TVXQ, and EXO were once the top idols. Soon NCT will become one.

7. [+53, -6] My bias group SHINee is in their 11th year, I think they're doing fantastic. Look at their achievements so far.

8. [+50, -23] What? Since when did EXO struggle? Kokobop's results were good enough to win a digital award ㅋㅋ

9. [+42, -8] SM is still doing well despite all that~

10. [+39, -1] Do you think Taeyeon, SHINee, Super Junior, and TVXQ need to care about the results?

11. [+37, -10] People say EXO has been struggling since Kokobop but their physical sales are always better than the previous year's ㅋㅋㅋ

12. [+35, -3] If selling 300K is a flop, then how much do you have to sell to not be called a flop?

13. [+29, -3] The thing that ruined NCT is the structure of the group that no one can understand. The only known members are Taeyong and Mark.

14. [+28, -10] Honestly, I don't look forward to SM's female idols. Everybody knows that SM's current trainees are shit. They lost all of their good trainees to other companies. There's no future for SM without a proper trainee.

Lack of lightsticks for SM's girl groups compared to boy groups

Pann: SM's sex discrimination

1. [+117, -3] It's not just this one... When SNSD's MV surpassed 200M views, there wasn't a single article about it. Taeyeon self-congratulated on her Instagram. Their discrimination is really bad.

2. [+110, -1] How can SNSD and BoA not have a lightstick? It looks severe as a non-fan ㅋㅋ I read a post where female trainees were recommending other companies because SM's discrimination is bad. I guess it's true.

3. [+76, -1] I thought they'd give SNSD a lightstick but they didn't until the end ㅋㅋ

4. [+48, -2] Don't try to justify SM's actions by mentioning sales. BoA and SNSD contributed a lot to the company. The company should give a lightstick to them for the sake of loyalty. It's not like they have a small fandom, either. They're top female artists and non-SM girl groups have lightsticks. They won't lose anything from giving a lightstick. It shows that SM treats their artists like products and gives no respect to them. I'm saying this as a long-term fan.

5. [+32, -2] People keep mentioning sales but how are you going to explain other girl groups getting lightsticks and practice videos? Isn't that a must these days? If they can't do that, then they shouldn't produce girl groups. BoA and SNSD are legends, it only looks like SM is discriminating them. So stop mentioning sales.

6. [+26, -1] MeUs all know that SM is trash.

7. [+23, -6] The point of this post isn't to complain how hoobae boy groups got their lightsticks first. It's to ask when the girl groups will finally get their lightsticks. Why are the fans of SM's boy groups getting upset over this? You can just say "yeah SM needs to give girl groups lightsticks" instead of acting like "but your sales aren't as big as the boy groups!"

8. [+21, -5] Can we mention the facts? Except EXO, all of the boy groups got their lightsticks last year and this year. People will think the boy groups got their lightsticks a long time ago. SuJu took 13 years, TVXQ took 15 years, SHINee took 10 years, and NCT took 2 years to get their lightsticks. It's either that SM needs money, got their shit together, or they're for the concerts. Since it's SHINee's 10th anniversary, they'll have a concert for sure and NCT seems like they're having one, too. There's no planned concert for SNSD and Red Velvet. Just ask for a concert and if you still don't get a lightstick, then you can beat SM up.
