Norway's Secret Military Sites


Norway has released an interactive map of all the military locations where it is forbidden to operate a drone and some security experts are not happy. All the markers on the Innmelding av Sensorflygning map indicates an area where it is illegal to take aerial photographs or video using a camera or any other type of sensors.

The World's Biggest Exporters of Arms



The SIPRI Arms Transfers Database is a record of all major arms deals around the world since 1950. The database can be used to determine which countries are the biggest exporters of weapons and which countries are the biggest buyers of arms. It can also reveal where individual countries buy their arms and where countries sell their weapons around the world.

Germany's Plans to Invade Britain

The German plan for invading Britain in World War II was code-named Operation Sea Lion. Although both Germany and Britain believed that an invasion was unlikely to succeed it didn't stop both sides from planning for a German invasion of Britain.
